1:1 Play Therapy
- Sensory-rich and messy play stations
- Textured exploration (sand, leaves, warm stones, grass)
- Water play (connecting water ways, water wheels, pouring, exploring)
- Painting (mud, clay, non-toxic coloured paints)
- Smell & sound stations
- Building with nature (rocks, sticks, leaves, driftwood)
- Felt play (storytelling using felt resources)
- Bonding & connection
- A qualified early childhood educator running the session, with a strong emphasis on responsive care, attachment and presence. Eye contact, mirroring and shared attention is valued as much as play.
- Exploration invitations
Play stations that prompt children to engage with natural materials in a meaningful way. The goal is to allow children the autonomy to direct their own play, follow their interests and express themselves creatively.
Parent Responsibility
We strongly recommend that this session be attended by the child and the educator only. A signed waiver form is required. However, if you prefer to stay and observe, you’re welcome to do so.
